Juvederm Dermal Fillers

A treatment for targeting wrinkles, lines and sagging on the facem Juvederm dermal fillers use hyaluronic acid to improve the volume and contours of the skin.

Juvederm prices:

Dermal Filler Ultra: £250 per syringe (additional syringes used on same day cost £200)

NeoStrata Chemical Peels

If you are looking for a fast solution to improve the appearance of your skin NEOSTRATA® ProSystem Peels are the answer.

A highly effective, peeling system that is applied by medical skincare professionals, ProSystem offers a range of facial peels, including options for specific skincare concerns. This allows RW Aesthetics to safely design a bespoke treatment plan around your skincare needs.

Considered ‘lunchtime peels’ because there is little to no recovery time needed following their use, NEOSTRATA® ProSystem Peels allow you to continue with your day with minimal inconvenience – and being careful to avoid sun exposure, of course.

As part of the NEOSTRATA® skincare range, the ProSystem Peels can be used to counter the appearance of pigmentation marks, acne and sun damage, helping your skin to appear smoother, younger and healthier looking.

Six flexible, acid-free options are available within the ProSystem’s Rejuvenating Glycolic Acid Peels, including 20%, 35%, 50% and 70%, a clarifying peel of 30% mandelic and citric acid and a brightening peel of 30% citric acid. Microneedling

Microneedling uses the body’s natural resources to help to uncover a brighter, more youthful appearance. During treatment your clinician will use a derma roller to create thousands of needle columns in the skin.

The method promotes the regeneration and repair of the skin through creating a ‘wound healing response’. This takes places through three stages:

Stage 1: Inflammation immediately after treatment, lasting up to 48 hours.

Stage 2: 10-14 days after treatment tissue levels increase.

Stage 3: Around 4 weeks after treatment, maturation and remodelling takes place where new collagen is laid down to enhance the skin’s structure and appearance.

Skin often looks brighter around two to four days after treatment but best results are seen after four weeks.

Microneedling can be used to treat sun damaged and ageing skin, facial and décolleté lines and wrinkles, poor texture and tone, acne scars and stretch marks.

One of our clients straight after microneedling treatment. It may look a little gruesome, with redness and bleeding, but the face is numbed beforehand so treatment is comfortable for the patient; with amazing results as the skin heals.

Microsclerotherapy

Microsclerotherapy is a highly specialised treatment that is considered the ‘gold-standard’ for the treatment of spider veins.

Tiny injections of a solution (a sclerosant) that will act as an irritant are injected into the veins to ultimately shrink them.

Using microsclerotherapy, RW Aesthetics target the vessels that cause spider veins, resulting in the treated areas shrinking or completely disappearing within two to three weeks.

Microsclerotherapy treatment sessions take 30 to40 minutes, with two to three sessions usually needed to achieve a 70 to80% clearance at three to four week intervals.

Microsclerotherapy allows reasonably extensive areas to be treated and many patients are amazed how effective clearance can be despite having ‘hidden’ their legs for 10 or years or more.

Side-effects of microsclerotherapy may include mild discomfort associated with the injections, short-term minor skin swellings, mild bruising, and, occasionally, a thrombosed vessel that feels like a small tube under the skin and takes 6 to12 weeks to disappear. These side effects can be improved by wearing support tights for 48 hours.

Around one in 20 patients may experience brown staining around vessels due to inflammation. This pigmentation usually fades after several weeks but may, in rare cases, be permanent.

Your consultant will discuss the effects that you can expect to see from treatment and any further rare side effects that could be caused.

Tweakments

Tweakments sum up exactly what aesthetic cosmetic treatments do – provide tweaks to improve your appearance. If you become worried as the signs of age start to appear on your face, tweakments offer a way to retain a youthful and fresh look. Covering most cosmetic improvements that do not require surgery, tweakments offer fast results with little recovery time – and are more accessible from a cost perspective.

Tweakments offered by RW Aesthetics include anti-wrinkle treatment, Juvéderm fillers, NEOSTRATA® chemical peels, microneedling, Microsclerotherapy and PDO Thread Lifts.

Volite

As part of the ageing process natural levels of hyaluronic acid in the body can decrease, leading to a loss of volume and saggy skin. Juvéderm’s Volite treatment effectively injects moisture into the skin, through the use of hyaluronic acid, to volumise the skin, smooth out wrinkles and help combat saggy areas by improving the contours of the face. Juvéderm Volite is ideal for minimising fine lines, improving hydration and boosting elasticity.

Ultra

Catering to all needs, Juvéderm’s Ultra range offers customers a number of different treatment options to best suit their skin condition. As highly effective hyaluronic acid fillers, these provide skin with the moisture levels needed for it to be revitalised. The range includes:
